I'm exhausted. Today was a relatively long day.
First off, I woke up at around 10:30 in the morning. I jolted up from my bed in panic. It's like I have this biological clock within me that unables me to sleep any later than 11am, and that, my friend, seriously sucks. Afterwards, I tried to clean up my laptop again. Seriously, it's crammed up with files I don't even know exist! I was done with the 3/4 when I realised I had to hurry up and go out. Mai is waiting for me at the terminus. I still had to pass by Jean-Coutu and get my picture taken for the passport. Yeah, I have to renew my passport. You ask why? BECAUSE I'M GOING TO BARCELONA IN JUNE! OH YEAH BABY! :) The procedure pretty much sucked. Apparently, my hair was far too long, and my piercings were in the way. I thought we had to keep our piercings so they are able to recognise you or something like that. The lady asked me to remove all the piercings on my ears, and to put my hair behind my hair. I proceeded to do so. She took the picture. She went back behind the counter. I took that as a sign that, yes, my picture is taken. I put on my scarf, my coat, and my earrings. I come out for the little white room to go pay for the pictures. And to my surprise, the lady says I have to retake them, because apparently, my stupid bangs were hiding my stupid eyebrow. Gosh! I was incredibly pissed. I mean seriously, could she not have realised that my bangs were hiding my eyebrow WHEN she took the stupid picture? Or when the picture appeared for that short span of time on the screen of the camera? (I'm glad Mai helped me to my eyebrows during the weekend. I have pretty eyebrows now.) Anyways, the thing is, I had to retake it. It's not like I have a choice. Mai might as well wait for me. I felt really bad by then. I had to redo the whole procedure. Anyways, when I was done, I just ran out to the car, and to the terminus.
Then, Mai and i went downtown to god knows where. I have absolutely no recollection of where we went. I'm actually trying to figure this out as I'm writing this. Oh! I remember! Our first stop was Metro Guy-Concordia. We wanted to go to L'amour to check out circle lens. The store was closed for some reason. We turned back on our trail, and... where did we go next? By then, Mai really wanted to go to a Dollarama, so we stopped by McGill Metro. She also wanted to get more piercings. She was disappointed by the earrings they had so she didn't get her ears done. I went to Ome Deserre to get a case for my long handle brushes. It's to avoid any damages to my paintbrushes. Smart eh? Not so much, considering how I'm only purchasing this at the end of the term. I'm an idiot. Most of my brushes have their hair dispersed in every direction. It frustrates me! GRRRR~ I also bought another thinner brush in order to complete the final project in color, in which I have to make little dots of color. From afar, it's supposed to seem like one unified color. Anyways, I totally understand where I'm going with this. In total, it's supposed to cost me around 23$, but since I've purchased more than 100$ the last time I went there, I had a 10$ off. :) Overall, since september, I've spent over 400$ in that store. I am so broke, which explains why I work my ass off, and why I'm going to be working two jobs during the holidays! Ah the horror! Afterwards, I remember we walked inside the metro, and we went to Saint-Laurent metro. There we got off, and so Mai could check out this store her friend referred her to. Apparently, they were supposed to sell real hair extensions, but her friend lied. Anyways, we walked to Chinatown afterwards. Mai wanted to buy the new G-Dragon album for her mother. It's funny how her mom is obsessed with him. I love Ji Yong too. :) I wanted to buy his album and just hang it on my wall. :D Anyways, we still have to get our vaccine done. Oh the dread!
We walked to Complexe Desjardins. There, we sat and talked, and ate two clementines! They were so delicious! I was so hungry, and let's just say that just increased my hunger. I called Leslie up, and we talked. He was so caring and sweet. I just told him that I would get vaccinated, and he simply asked me if I ate. I said no, and he straight out told me 'you should eat if you're hungry.' I remember correctly that if we were getting out blood taken, we'd have to eat, and that makes sense. However, if we're getting vaccinated... is it necessary to eat? He just replied ''in that case, you have to be healthy.'' Hahahaha! He's so funny. Then, at Atwater, we waited in line for the vaccine. I didn't want to get it but my parents forced me into it. I am very sensitive to pain. Although I have had many procedures done to me, I am still very sensitive. :( I was so nervous when the lady put antiseptic (I suppose that's what it was) on my skin. Another thing, I wore a long sleeve dress. It was a stupid mistake. I completely forgot I had a vaccine to take. I just grabbed the neck of my shirt and pulled it down to my arm. I absolutely refuse to pull my dress up, even if I had something under. Mai, however, was bare underneath. She felt so uncomfortable, and she didn't want to stretch her shirt. In the end, she decided to ruin her shirt instead of being bare. The injection hurt like b!tch. I felt the needle pierce in my skin. GOD! Afterwards, it felt so numb around the injected spot. I was even more hungry. We went to IGA and got ourselves some macaroni salad and a spring roll. We sat down and ate and talked, till we had to go. We went back to bonaventure, and Mai took the 5, I took the 33. I got home, and I continued sorting out my pictures.
Here is Mai, eating her salad :)
I updated my DeviantArt. I added folders, some of my recent work, and I updated my personal blog. I'm really tired right now, and I still have an assignment waiting to be completed.
I'm going to edit this post later.
Edit: GO ON MY DA TO SEE MY MOST RECENT WORK! I will not post any more of my work on this blog. I will only post snapshots of my day here. The pictures I take as a hobby will be on DA. Here
